Stealing Second.

Life is scary. It involves doing things we don't want to, letting go of things we can't have, and moving on to big and better things for ourselves. One theory I live by is that the things that scare us the most are usually the most worthwhile. And if you don't risk anything, you risk even more. Life is short, and opportunties are rare and we have to be vigilant in protecting them. And not only the opportunities to succeed but the opportunity to laugh, to see the enchantment in the world and to live. Because life doesn’t owe us anything, as a matter of fact, I think that we owe something to the world. And if we can just believe in loving deeply, forgiving quickly, and taking chances, you'll never have any regrets. There's magic in the world but only those who seen it ever find it. So take risks. Try something new, find your passion, help save a life, fall in love, and find the magic in your life. There's so much to live for and so much learn.
Progress always involves risks.  You can't steal second base and keep your foot on first.
