Keep Calm & Drink Chocolate.

So as the snow is coming down and I sit here wrapped in a blanket looking out the window enjoying it's beauty and procrastinating my math homework, I began to think about my life. Where I've been, where I'm going..etc. when I realized that honestly, no matter where you end up, and with who, it always ends up just the way it should be.
In life we do things- some, we wish we had never done; some, we wish we could replay a million times in our heads- but they all make us who we are. And in the end, those experiences shape every detail about us. If we were to reverse any of them, we wouldn’t be at the exact place we are today.

So just live.
Make mistakes.
Take lots of chances.
& have wonderful times.
but never, ever, second guess who you are, where you have been, and most importantly, where it is you are going.

Waking On The Right Side.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what people say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a heart, a future, a home. The remarkable thing is: we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you.
We are in charge of our attitudes

So Kiss Me....

"You wear those shoes,
and I will wear that dress...."

For a kiss to be really good, you want it to mean something. You want it to be with someone you can’t get out of your head, so that when your lips finally touch, you feel it everywhere. A kiss so hot and so deep that you never want to come up for air. You can’t cheat your first kiss. Trust me, you don’t want to. Cause when you find that right person for a first kiss, it’s everything.
Kisses are such a powerful form of touch.
There's so much to love about them.
I love the silence.
That brief beautiful silence between every kiss.
I love that each is unique and special in it's own way.
&
I love that when it's shared between two people who genuinely care about each other, it can stop the world.

Proud To Be The Problem

Dare to look foolish
[The real fools are those who never attempt anything.]
 Dare to make mistakes
[They are the best teachers you will ever know.]
Dare to take action
[There’s a risk you may fail. Yet if you take no action failure is a certainty.]
 Dare to be fully alive
[Live life. Laugh lots. Love forever.]
Dare to speak your mind
[That's the only way you'll ever be heard.]
Dare to enjoy the beauty of the world
[If you never stop to look, you will never see it's magic.]
Dare to make a difference
[Be the change you'd like to see in the world.]
 Dare to love
[It's not going to be easy, but it will be worth it]
Dare to be the person you know you can be
[It's not about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself.]
Dare to expect the best
[You’ll usually get it.]
Dare to do what is right rather than what is convenient or expedient.
[It will truly make a difference in the way you see yourself, and the way others see you.]

You’re here, with this magnificent day available to you.

Dare to make it the best you can.

[Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.]

Catch Me Darling.

It’s really scary when you get attached to someone. You spend time with them, you get to know them. You find yourself knowing their favorite color, food, movie, song. You discover their flaws and their talents. And as time goes on, you learn more and more, absorbing every second of detail without even realizing it. Then one day, you wake up and realize how much this person actually means to you, and you love them for every strength and weakness. They make you feel warm and secure, but most of all, they bring you happiness. And to bring happiness to someone in such a way is a strong and powerful thing. It could break a person completely. Some say those who fall in love are young and dumb. I say they show an incredible amount of bravery. It takes courage to trust somebody with your entire heart.
I lack that courage and strength.
I need a guy who will hold his ground and tell me to stop running from everything I’m afraid of. Who’s not afraid to scream at me until I realize that it’s okay. That it’s okay to love, to be committed in a relationship, to have feelings for somebody, to fall in love, to have the wedding that I’ve always dreamed of, and most importantly, to wish and hope that someday, the fairytale that I’ve always imagined for myself will come true. Even if there’s not always a white horse and a prince waiting at the end.

It's About The Story

LAS VEGAS

This last weekend this lucky girl roadtripped down through a crazy snowstorm with my bestie, two new completely awesome girls, and one boy who braved a car full of girls. After 6 hours, 3 pee stops for lindsey, and multiple games of "never have I ever", we had made it to SIN CITY.

even though we spend the next two days shopping, gambling, walking the strip etc.. we went down for one special reason...

LMFAO!

Even though my valentines day wasn't spent at a romantic dinner with a boy who shows is "love" with teddy bears, flowers, and chocolate...
I spent my valentines day with the BEST people, and experiencing one of the most AMAZING nights of my life!

sometimes all you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess, just breathe and enjoy the moment at hand.

[my claim to fame. kissing REDFOO!]

Life is about the story!
 It's about taking risks
& making memories.

Nothing Is Permanant. Right?

CHANGE

I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes we have to make changes in our life, and then there are those times when change comes unexpectedly.
Without warning.
Out of the blue.
Knock you off your feet,
kind of change.

Alot has changed this week.
Some by choice, others by default.
 The life lesson I've learned:
In life we never lose friends, we simply find out who the real ones are.
I'm constantly amazed at how much you learn about someone when put in a certain situation.
Sometimes you find out they aren't who you thought they were.
& Sometimes you find out your friendship is only strengthened by hardships.
I've always told myself, "I'm strong enough"
I never want to need someone else.
but there comes a day when you do.
I appreciate those in my life who are never changing.
Steadfast.
Immovable.
My true friends.
Friendships that no distance could change.
no boy could come between.
& no petty drama could alter.

Things change and friends leave and life doesn't stop for anybody. So find those that will join you for the ride.
