It Never Ends.

I don't think we ever stop loving someone.

That love may change, 

& over time it may not be the same type of love,

 but I don't believe it simply goes away.

 It doesn't matter how many times someone disappoints you,

 or breaks your heart into a million pieces.

you still care.

& that love is still there.

[I've said it before but..] 

 The greatest act of love is sacrafice.

We've all done it.

It's when you shed a tear and let him go,

even though he's the only one you want.

It's watching him fall in love with someone new, and having the courage to tell him

 you're happy for him.

 And it's because when you love someone,

 you set your selfish desires aside

 & all that matters

 is that they live happily ever after,

even if it's not with you.

 So don't be scared that you are still in love with someone,
[I know I'm not]

 because it's normal

 & it shows that you are capable of something deeper and more meaningful.

& because love...

never ends
